CBN TIES Grant for Undergraduates and Graduates in Nigeria is open for application.
The Central Bank of Nigeria, as part of its effort to boost economic growth and reduce unemployment among graduates of Nigeria Polytechnics and Universities, introduced the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme.

The Scheme is designed to create a paradigm shift among undergraduates and graduates from the pursuit of white collar jobs to a culture of entrepreneurship geared towards job creation, economic growth and sustainable development.
The Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) therefore developed the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme (TIES), in partnership with the academia( Universities and Polytechnics) to unleash the potential of the Nigeria graduate entrepreneurs (gradpreneurs) by providing re-orientation, training and an innovative financing model that will enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem with transformational impact on the economy.
What is CBN TIES?
CBN TIES is a short form for Central Bank of Nigeria Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme.
CBN TIES is a scheme put in place to help curb the high unemployment rate in Nigeria, by creating a startup funding for undergraduates and graduates to be self employed during and after their university, polytechnic, tertiary learning.
The CBN TIES Grant will provide 500 million Naira to beneficiaries of the scheme.

CBN TIES Grant Application Requirement:
To be eligible to participate for the TIES grant of 500 million naira, interested applicants must be;
- A Graduate of Nigerian University or Polytechnic.
- Must possess First Degree Certificate ( BSc, HND, or its equivalent) for a recognised tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Applicants must possess National Youth Service Corps Certificate (NYSC discharge certificate, or Exemption letter).
- Applicants must have a certificate of participation issued by a university or polytechnic, as evidence of entrepreneurship training.
- Participants NYSC certificate should not be more 7 years old.
