Denys Holland Scholarship:- The University College London is now accepting applications for the University College Denys Scholarship from appropriately qualified applicants. All students are eligible for this fully supported grant.
The scholarship may be used in conjunction with other grants, bursaries, awards, or scholarships as long as the total annual support does not exceed the cost of tuition plus a reasonable amount for upkeep in any given year (as determined by UCL).
University College Denys Holland Scholarship
The Denys Holland Scholarship was established in Professor Denys Holland's memory and is supported by donations from his pupils. Denys Holland was a Dean of Students and a Professor of Law. The scholarship is worth £9,000 per year for three years.
Scholarships will be renewed annually based on academic progress, and students may choose to use all or part of the funding to cover tuition expenses; any remaining funds will be distributed as a stipend to the student.
Scholarship Type:
This scholarship is for undergraduates only.
Criteria for University College Denys Holland Scholarship
Candidates for the University College Denys Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
1. Holding a full-time undergraduate entrance offer from UCL in any department;
2. Be in financial need and be able to demonstrate that they would not be able to attend UCL without the scholarship;
3. Preferably under the age of 25 when they begin their education;
4. Demonstrate a wide range of interests and a desire to participate in and contribute to the university's life.
Criteria for Selection
It provided the scholarship based on financial need, with applicants demonstrating their desire to participate fully in UCL's extracurricular activities and the Student Union.
Scholarship Value
The scholarship is worth £9,000 per year, and scholars can use all or part of it to pay their tuition. Any remaining funds are paid to the scholar as a stipend for living expenses.
Denys Holland Scholarship Duration:
The scholarship is for one year, but it can be renewed for up to three years if you make good progress.
